Avalanche Courses in the Tirol
To improve safety on the ski pistes in the Tirol, we recommend participation in an avalanche course. Improve your knowledge and learn more about the snow profile, the proper use of technical equipment and the correct procedures in an emergency situation.

Avalanche Course I
In this one-day avalanche course you learn the most important things every freerider or ski tourer should know, from tour planning to rescue techniques.
Course content:
- Rescue techniques (Avalanche Transceiver)
- Tour plannning
- Orientation
- Weather/Avalanche knowledge
- Snow profile
- Track selection in the terrain

- Organisation
- Guiding by a state certified Mountain and Ski Guide

Avalanche Course II
Learn in a 3-day course all the necessary things that are important for an independent ski tour.
Course Content:
- Rescue techniques (Avalanche Transceiver)
- Tour planning
- Orientation
- Weather / Avalanche knowledge
- Snow profile
- Track selection in the terrain
- Ascent and descent techniques
Provided:
- Organisation
- Guiding by a state certified Mountain and Ski Guide
- Reservation of the mountain huts
